Project: Environmental monitoringIf you are currently a graduate or undergraduate student at UK send me an email to talk about a research project in the lab. Undergraduate students can sign up for 3 credits of CHE 395 with Dr. Guzman's prior permission.
If you are not currently at UK, there are positions available for students. Our laboratory is looking for motivated students to work in applied chemistry research. Atmospheric chemistry, water treatment, energy production, and astrobiology, are topics of special interest but other research problems may be considered. Please, send your application to marcelo (dot) guzman (at) uky (dot) edu. The application should include a cover letter, CV, and the names of three references. The cover letter should include a statement of your previous research experience, state your goal, and explain why our lab is going to help you to accomplish it. I would be delighted to sponsor your application to the University Research Postdoctoral Fellowship and the Lyman T. Johnson Postdoctoral Fellowship (US citizens only) for women and members of ethnic groups underrepresented in the sciences. |
